Robin Thicke was arrested for marijuana possession near Gramercy Park in New York City, the New York Daily News is reporting. The R&B singer was arrested on February 17, 2012 by patrol officers who witnessed him smoking a joint while sitting in a Cadillac Escalade near the park.
While Thicke was in the car with another person, officers said the singer was the only person arrested and charged. Thicke was cooperative with police during the arrest, however, and even signed autographs for, and took pictures with, officers.
Thicke told officers that he was headed to a lower East Side address, but it isn’t known where he was headed. His reps haven’t commented on the case yet.
