Hot on the heels of the film’s first trailer comes a new “Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters” poster at CinemaCon. It’s a little too cut-and-paste for my taste, but it does provide a good look at the characters we grew to know and love from round one as well as two franchise newcomers, Leven Rambin’s Clarisse La Rue and Douglas Smith’s one-eyed Tyson.
“Sea of Monsters” picks up where “The Lightning Thief” left off with Percy (Logan Lerman) continuing on to fulfill his destiny. This time around, he’s tasked with saving their world by recovering the Golden Fleece. In order to do so, Percy, Annabeth (Alexandra Daddario), and Grover (Brandon T. Jackson) must travel to the Sea of Monsters where they’ll have to take on horrifying creatures, an army of zombies, and the ultimate evil.
