Sometimes the only possible way to guarantee safety during difficult situations is to ally with the unlikeliest of accomplices. That’s certainly true for Brittany Snow’s character in the upcoming action movie, ‘Bushwick,’ as she’s forced to rely on an ex-Marine corpsman, who’s apprehensive about helping her secure her survival. In conjunction with the recent announcement that the drama will have its World Premiere at next month’s Sundance Film Festival, three new images from the movie have been released.
Nick Damici and Graham Reznick co-penned the script for ‘Bushwick,’ which was directed by Cary Murnion and Jonathan Milott. In addition to Snow, the adventure film also features Dave Bautista, Angelic Zambrana, Jeremie Harris, Myra Lucretia Taylor and Arturo Castro. The movie was produced by Nate Bolotin of XYZ Films and Adam Folk of Bullet Pictures. WME Global is co-repping U.S. sales with XYZ.
‘Bushwick’ follows Snow’s character, Lucy, as she emerges from a Brooklyn subway to find that her neighborhood is under attack by black-clad military soldiers. An ex-Marine corpsman, Stupe, reluctantly helps her fight for survival through a civil war, as Texas attempts to secede from the United States of America.
