Everything people know about life and death has been challenged by a new scientific breakthrough. That development, which has shocked the world, is being unveiled in the new trailer for the upcoming sci-fi film, ‘The Discovery.’ The trailer features Robert Redford‘s character, Dr. Thomas Harbor, who has made the stunning finding, which has thrown people’s lives off balance.
‘The Discovery’ is set to debut globally on Friday, March 31, on Netflix. The drama is a love story set in a world where the afterlife has been scientifically proven, and as a result, millions of people start taking their own lives to get there.
In addition to Redford, ‘The Discovery’ also stars Rooney Mara, Jason Segel, Riley Keough and Jesse Plemons. The romance movie was directed by Charlie McDowell, who also co-wrote the script with Justin Lader. The drama was produced by Alex Orlovsky of A-LO Films and James D. Stern of Endgame Entertainment, and was co-financed by Endgame Entertainment and Protagonist Pictures. The film’s executive producers include Julie Goldstein, Lucas Smith, Mike Goodridge, Dimitra Tsingou, Hunter Gray and McDowell.
