Actors Bill Milner and Charlotte Vega are being introduced to the world as their title characters in the upcoming Gothic horror movie, ‘The Lodgers.’ The Irish Film Board, Epic Pictures and Tailored Films have unveiled the official poster and stills for the drama, which will have its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) on Friday, September 8.
The supernatural horror movie’s premiere will be held at Toronto’s Scotiabank Theatre, in cinema 3, and will begin at 7:15 pm. After its world premiere, ‘The Lodgers’ will also screen on Saturday, September 9 at 4:15 pm in Scotiabank 3, and Friday, September 15 at 3:00 pm in Scotiabank 11.
David Turpin made his feature film writing debut with the screenplay for ‘The Lodgers,’ which was directed by Brian O’Malley. In addition to Milner and Vega, the drama also stars David Bradley and Eugene Simon.

The Gothic ghost story follows the lives of orphaned twins Edward (Milner) and Rachel (Vega), who share a crumbling manor in 1920’s rural Ireland. But they are not alone. They share the house with unseen entities who control them with three absolute rules. As separate fates draw them apart, the twins must face the terrible truth about their family’s ghostly tormentors.
