Discovering that their parents’ seemingly perfect marriage isn’t as ideal as they’ve always imagined can be a challenging idea to comprehend for many young adults. That’s certainly the case for the title protagonist in the drama, ‘The Only Living Boy in New York,’ which is set to be released on Digital HD this Friday. October 20, by Lionsgate. In honor of the film’s home distribution, Shockya is premiering an exclusive behind-the-scenes clip, which is titled ‘Relationships.’ The video explores the connections between families that are constantly changing, due to erroneous circumstances.

‘The Only Living Boy in New York’ was directed by Golden Globe-nominated helmer, Marc Webb, and written by Allan Loeb. The coming-of-age story for the modern era stars Oscar winner Jeff Bridges, Golden Globe nominee Pierce Brosnan, Kate Beckinsale, Cynthia Nixon, Kiersey Clemons and Callum Turner.

‘The Only Living Boy in New York,’ which is set in New York City, follows a recent college graduate, Thomas Webb (Turner), as he seeks the guidance of an eccentric neighbor, W.F. Gerald (Bridges). Thomas’ life is upended by his father, Ethan’s (Brosnan), mistress Johanna (Beckinsale).

The home entertainment release of ‘The Only Living Boy in New York’ includes three featurettes. The bonus feature clips look at the making of the movie, the eco-friendly measures that the production used and how the character of New York City contributed to the story.
