One of the most frightening means of combat that a group can use on their enemies is a biological weapon. That form of defense is even more terrifying when it’s utilized by antagonistic alien leaders that are determined to harm Earth in its entirety. One of the latest foreign villains to threaten violence and destruction to human’s world is featured in the upcoming sci-fi movie, ‘Crossbreed.’ In honor of the action film entering into its final phases of post-production, Shockya is exclusively premiering the first look photo of actress Devanny Pinn as the title alien in the feature.
‘Crossbreed’ is being directed by Brandon Slagle. In addition to Pinn, the film also stars Vivica A. Fox, Daniel Baldwin, Stink Fisher, Vernon Wells, Jason McNeil, John T. Woods, Antoine Linear and Brandyn T. Williams. The drama has made cinematic history by casting Fox as the first African-American female president in a movie.
It took a dedicated special FX team up to 11 hours to transform Pinn into the alien life form that she plays in the film, as she wore a full body latex and prosthetic makeup. The actress revealed that “I loved playing this role. One of my favorite things about acting in genre films is that there are no limitations to what you can take on. Some of my favorite characters so far have been not human, so I cannot wait for everyone to see ‘Crossbreed!'”
The sci-fi action movie is in the final phases of post-production. It’s set to release a trailer this month, before it’s distributed next year.

In the near future, the President of the New United States of America (Fox) hires a team of military veterans to retrieve a biological alien weapon from a top secret research facility orbiting the Earth. The mission goes awry when it is revealed that the facility is being maintained by a double agent with allegiance both to the President as well as alien arms dealers. Facing an immeasurable task, team leader Adam “Boss” Ryker (Fisher) must face not only the heavily-armed personnel guarding the facility, but also the alien biological weapon itself.
