28 Day after a group of animal activists release an infected monkey a bicycle currier awakes in a deserted hospital to find it isn’t the only thing deserted, everything is. All of London has been deserted, or at least that is what he thinks. Finding out that a mere drop of blood from someone who has been infected will almost instantly turn you into a raging lunatic zombie only after one thing the flesh of those who are not infected. Looking for shelter he is rescued by two survivors and they try to make their way to safety any way the can, the only question is how long can they stay uninfected.
Definitely a top-scoring movie on my personal chart receiving Three Skipped Beats on the Roger Moore scale. This film was excellently done and left nothing to the imagination, that was the good part, explaining all we needed or ever wanted to know about modern day zombie movies it is truly an instant classic. Myself eagerly anticipate the sequel as well as many others. It put a new spin on zombies and it made you think what is happening in scientific laps around the world, are we next to fall under such a frightful death or is it just a hell of a movie.
