D-Day Is Coming
When the world is overrun by the flesh hungry dead a small group of survivors head to an underground military bunk in a last ditch effort to stay alive. The original film follows a group of scientists and military personnel held up in an underground scientific and military bunker because the world above is overrun with zombies. The lumbering flesh eaters eventually find a way in and wreak havoc on the scientists who’ve been experimenting on their undead brethren.          Â
Starring Ving Rahmes and Nick Cannon, directed by Steve Miner this movie is set to come out sometime next year it is said to be in postproduction right now. I for one am looking forward to this remake knowing that the cast will be a strong one and the story being an original Romero will definitely be good as it has been written by Jeffrey Reddick the writer of Final destination for one and with Miner behind the camera it should be a good one as he has brought us such great films as Lake Placid, several of the Friday the 13th movies, House and Warlock. This should prove to stand up to the Dawn remake and hopefully surpassing it. I look forward to seeing if Romero’s original idea comes into play with the script or not, if it does I’ll let you know in my review of it as soon as I get to watch it. It is intereseting to see what comes from the filming in Sofia, Bulgaria. I just watched the trailer and it looks totally badass.
