A Tasmanian devil has been genetically mutated and is set free in a heavily wooded area near a cemetery where six young student filmmakers are shooting a film. It soon begins to wreak havoc and leaving nothing but a bloody mess.
Technically this film will stand out all on it’s own. It was gritty, hardnosed and very entertaining. The story was interesting and the special effects were done with style. Where else are you going to watch Reggie Bannister battle a 7-foot Tasmanian devil with a shotgun? Cemetary gates gets two skipped beats on the Roger Moore movie scale. I would suggest this movie to any die-hard monster movie fan. As always be afraid, be very afraid.Â
