So I just got off of the Nowheremen site and watched almost all of the videos in the series. And I gotta say, that’s probably one of the better series on the web that I have seen lately. The production is pretty fantastic, and it was obviously not your basic student film. I really like how they incorporated all those online “isms” that is so prevalent these days in our ultra modern pop culture. I think they really did a great job of telling a story, and incorporating all these other elements that combine to make a good series. Kudos!

I also wanted to say that I think that a web series like that is deserving of some high honors, like a Primetime Emmy. I work with the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, and I am looking for really awesome online video content like that to submit to the Academy for consideration in these year’s Emmys. The deadline to submit is April 7th. I think it’s an amazing opportunity that every amateur/indie filmmaker should consider if they want their work to be shown on a national level. Does anyone plan on entering?
