Summit Entertainment sent us a few new movie stills featuring Edward and Bella from the upcoming film based on the best-selling book series by Stephenie Meyer “Twilight” by director Catherine Hardwicke and starring Kristen Stewart (Panic Room), Robert Pattinson (Harry Potter and The Order of the Phoenix), Elizabeth Reaser (The Family Stone), Nikki Reed (Thirteen), Peter Facinelli (The Scorpion King), Jackson Rathbone (Hurt), Cam Gigandet (Never Back Down), Billy Burke (Untraceable) and Ashley Greene (Shark).
Synopsis: Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) has always been a little bit different, never caring about fitting in with the trendy girls at her Phoenix high school. When her mother remarries and sends Bella to live with her father in the rainy little town of Forks, Washington, she doesn’t expect much of anything to change. Then she meets the mysterious and dazzlingly beautiful Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson), a boy unlike any she’s ever met. Intelligent and witty, he sees straight into her soul. Soon, Bella and Edward are swept up in a passionate and decidedly unorthodox romance. Edward can run faster than a mountain lion, he can stop a moving car with his bare hands – and he hasn’t aged since 1918. Like all vampires, he’s immortal. The closer the two get, the more Edward must struggle to resist the primal pull of her scent, which could send him into an uncontrollable frenzy. I don’t like Nikki Reed as Rosalie Hale. She doesn’t fit the part at all compared to how Rosalie is described in the book. She probably only got the part because the director of Twilight wrote and directed Thirteen alongside Reed. Whoops.

I got excited for nothing but old photos? Nikki Reed, I agree that she doesn’t physically fit the part, but it will be her acting that really matters.

this is completely random because ashley Greene isn’t in any of these pictures, but I think she is absolutely PERFECT as alice. She looks and sounds exactly as I imagined.
And I think that nikki reed is a good rosalie as well.

Yeah these picture aren’t new at all and i don’t really like Nikki Reed as Rosalie either. Don’t get me wrong she is pretty but she’s not the most beautiful person in the whole entire planet like Rosalie is described as being. I know they can’t get the perfect person but i think they could have gotten someone that fits the role better. I don’t know why but some people really don’t like Kristen Stewart as Bella but I think she’s great for the role, more suited for it than Nikki is for Rosalie.
I think that they should have gotten someone different for both Bella and Rosalie but I suppose that they are both better than some people they could have gotten. I think they did great at casting Edward and Alice though, they seem like they were made for the roll or something. I’m so excited for the movie! I wish they’d release it now :-P
No one they find is going to look exactly as Edward or Rosalie is described. You want them to find the perfect Rosalie? Okay then, and even if they did, who is to say they wont be the worst actress in the world. We all have different opinions. I could think that someone is gorgeous while you think they are hideous. It depends on your perception. Get over it.
No these aren’t new, which is a little of a disappointment, but I am always willing to look at old pics! I am so excited for the movie!! I think they did a wonderful job with the casting, on ALL accounts! Just because and actor isn’t how someone invisioned a character doesn’t mean that someone else could of. Stephenie Meyer has said herself that she agrees with all of the casting choices! Besides the way a person can portray a character is more important then the way they look. Looks can change with make-up or other effects. I think most should hold their negative opinons until they see the completed movie. Lets not judge to harshly on something that isn’t even finished yet.
I’m not saying I don’t like the actress playing Rosalie because she’s not gorgeous or the way I invisioned her, I’m just not sure how she’ll bring the role together. I guess we’ll just see when the movie comes around. Bella in the previews didn’t seem like how she should be though, that’s why I don’t exactly like the casting there. Maybe she’ll do better with other scenes like showing how she’s clumsy and a unlike most of the other people in the schools there. Anyway, as I said, I’m very happy about the casting of Edward and Alice, Edward seemed perfect in the previews and Alice just looks the perfect role and I’m hoping she’ll be the same way in the movie. Everyone else I’m unsure whether I like them or not since I’ve just seen breif glances of them so far in pictures or previews.
i think that kate beckingsale should have been picked for the part of rosalie because she is prettier and she has already proved that is good in vampire movies.i think that nikki reed is pretty, but i don’t think she is vampire pretty.

nikki reid is NO rosalie! no matter what you all say, she is definitely not the porcelain beautiful blond described in the book. first of all, the black roots are soooo apparent, how could you ever picture her as a real blond? and her look is too hard to be refined. I think she is absolutely fabulous in her own way, i loved her character and portrayal in 13, but she is not right for this part. they could have done way!!!!!! better, acting aside. sadly, like every book turned into a movie, they never get it 100% right for everyone. i can’t offer a better replacement, but think blond refined, like january jones, or elisha cuthbert, someone with fine features and light coloring.
i agree that nikki reed is a great actress and that we all have different opinions of what is beautiful and what isn’t. nikki is a beautful person! but if you have read the book, like diana said, rosalie is a porcelain tall and skinny blond beauty. nikki isn’t a natural blond, and the bleach effect is AWFUL. and not that she doesn’t have an awesome body, but it’s not what is DESCRIBED. it’s not all in my head how she was supposed to look. pay more attention when you read.

i don’t care what you say nikki reed is HORRIBLE for the role. she probably only got the part out of favoritism and i don’t care about how well she acts in the part, she doesn’t fit the description and she’s going to ruin rosalie’s part in the story. she doesn’t have the physical frame. rosalie is supposed to be thin and willowy and porcelain and just glamourous. not a curvy tanned girl with a manly face wearing a horrendous wig. sorry but it’s not going to work. too bad they didn’t cast very well.

Ok, anyone watch the new 90210 series? because the guy that plays Tye is PERFECT for edward. i mean, i love Robert Pattinson and i think he is amazing. but, if i had known this guy was out here….whooo!! everyone i know feels the same way about this guy…seriously yall, IMDB him! His name is Adam Gregory. man he is hot!

and i quite like kristen stewart but i haven’t really seen her in much so i don’t know how good she is. i’m not so sure about nikki reed, i loved her in 13 and think she is an amazing actress but i don’t think shes right for the part. i imagined a blond liv tyler who has already beautifully portrayed a un-human charaters amazingly in lord of the rings, her skin is perfect and she has such delicate features.
i’m really exsited about the film coming out cos i love the books to pieces. i hope they do a good job cos so many people will be dissapointed if they don’t. i’ve got so many people in my school reading it and me and my friends are obsessed with it and edward. i’m trying to make it as big in the uk as it is in america.
