Chun Li is the first female playable character to show in a 1-on-1 fighting game.
This information isn't true. The first playable female character of the 1-on-1 fighting games is Lan fang from the multiplayer mode of Konami's Yie Ar Kung-Fu 2 released in 1986, five years before Street Fighter 2.
