New overseas posters for the European market for the upcoming “X-Men Origins: Wolverine” have surfaced, featuring Wolverine, Sabretooth, and Gambit, Check out one below, and you can see all the posters here.
“X-Men Origins: Wolverine”, in theaters May 1st, is a prequel to the previous “X-Men” films and is about the early years of the mysterious mutant called Wolverine, aka Logan. The film details his involvement with Weapon X, a black-ops supersoldier program that is responsible for fusing the unbreakable metal adamantium to his skeleton and mutant claws. The film will also show his youth, his first true love, and the root of his feud with the similarly feral mutant Sabretooth. The film stars Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, Liev Shreiber as Sabretooth, Danny Huston as Colonel Stryker, Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool, Will. I. Am as Wraith, and Taylor Kitsch as Gambit.
Marvel’s Wolverine, a feral mutant with heightened senses, a superhuman healing ability, and razor-sharp metal-coated claws, first appeared in Incredible Hulk #180 in October 1974. He was created by Len Wein and John Romita Sr., and has since gone onto become one of Marvel’s most recognized characters, a longtime member of the company’s “X-Men” and “Avengers” titles, as well as various solo series, single issues, and miniseries. He has also been present in almost every “X-Men” media adaptation.
