“X-Men Origins: Wolverine” director Gavin Hood recently sat down with Scifiwire.com and talked about a few things in his upcoming chapter of the X-Men film franchise.
He told reporters on Friday at a press screening that the film would feature not one, but two, different easter eggs at the end of the film’s credits. Talking about the cameo surprises in 2008’s summer smashes “Iron Man” of Samuel L Jackson as Nick Fury, and Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark in “The Incredible Hulk”, Hood hinted that one of them might hint to the future of Wade Wilson, aka Deadpool, the Weapon X scarred, sword-wielding, and wisecracking mercenary.
Hood also talked about the differences between the final version of the film, and the pirated workprint that leaked last month online, saying that in fact there were some 400 unfinished effects shots that are now done, as well as the color-timing being done and the final score being in place.
“X-Men Origins: Wolverine” opens May 1st, 2009.
