Bruce Willis has been attached to star in the big-screen adaptation of the Homage/Wildstorm graphic novel “Red”, from acclaimed writer Warren Ellis and artist Cully Hammer.
“Red”, published between 2003 and 2004, is about a former CIA wetworks operative targeted for elimination by his superiors when a new CIA director learns of his existence, and he decides to strike back at those he once worked for.
Gregory Noveck of DC will be the executive producer on the adaptation as Wildstorm is a subsidiary of DC Comics, and Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Mark Vahradian producing. “Whiteout” writers Erich and Jon Hoeber are behind the screenplay.
