“Terminator Salvation” star Sam Worthington confirmed to Moviehole.net that he has recently talked to Martin Campbell about Campbell’s “Green Lantern”, the big-screen adaptation of the DC Comics title about the ring-wielding intergalactic space police force.
Worthington can next be seen in the upcoming latest installment of the Terminator franchise playing Marcus Wright, the resistance fighter from another time who discovers that he is in fact a decommissioned Terminator prototype. He told Moviehole that he had “been talking to (“Green Lantern” director) Martin Campbell about it […] It’s one of those things where they’re still doing the script. I said, ‘Give me a script. Let me have a look at it.’ I like Martin a lot. I met him on the Bond stuff, and I like his work, but the second step is, ‘Is it a movie that I’d go and see?’ ”
“Terminator: Salvation” is in theaters May 21st, 2009. “Green Lantern” has a scheduled release date of June 17th, 2011.
