The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Lucas Cruikshank and Jaime King are attached to star in the graphic novel adaptation of “Emo Boy”.
The live-action adaptation of the graphic novel series from SLG Comics revolves around a melancholy and melodramatic teen who believes that he has “emo powers”. The series was created by Stephen Emond.
Kyle Newman is directing off of Emond’s screenplay, and Kyle Newman is attached to direct. John H. Williams and Robert Moreland of Vanguard Films are producing. Cruikshank will play the hero Emo Boy, and King will play the sympathetic teacher Mrs. Hutcherson.
