Variety.com is reporting that The Weinstein Company has moved the release date of the musical “Nine,” directed by Rob Marshall, from November 2th, to a December 18th limited release and a wider release in theaters on Christmas day.
“Nine”, an adaptation of the stage play of the same name, is about director Guido Contini (Daniel Day-Lewis), who has a midlife crisis as he turns 40 and struggles to balance his latest film along with all the women in his life;
His wife Luisa (Marion Cotillard), the film star and his personal muse Claudia (Nicole Kidman), his mistress Carla (Penélope Cruz), his longtime confidant and costume designer Liliane (Judi Dench), an American journalist (Kate Hudson), his first love the prostitute La Saraghina (Fergie) and his mother (Sophia Loren).
