Summit Entertainment will be producing a live-action film adaptation of Top Cow’s comic book “Alibi,” about a set of identical twins, one a well-known playboy socialite, the other a globetrotting government assassin.
The Top Cow action/espionage title was created by Top Cow COO & President Matt Hawkins and Michael Renegar. It is written by Joshua Hale Fialkov and illustrated by Jeremy Haun. It was part of the company’s “Pilot Season” project, where readers are given the chance to vote on their favorite one-shot stories to see which ones would get continuing series deals.
David Hoberman and Todd Lieberman of Mandeville are producing the project, with John Hlavin writing the script.
So far no casting or directing news has been announced yet for the project.
