Director Harold Ramis has admitted that there is a tentative schedule for a third “Ghostbusters” movie to begin production, with filming tentatively set to start in in summer of 2010.

In an interview with Heeb Magazine, he admitted the scheduling information, as well as the tidbit that there will be both old and new Ghostbusters in the film, which would be the latest in the cult-film franchise about professional ghost exterminators for hire.

“Ghostbusters”, starring Ramis, Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Rick Moranis, and Sigourney Weaver, was released in 1984. “Ghostbusters II” came out in 1989. Both films were written by Ramis and Aykroyd.
