Marc Forster (“Quantum of Solace” and “Finding Neverland”) has been attached to direct “The Chancellor Manuscript”, an adaptation of the Robert Ludlum novel, for Paramount.
Peter O’Brien will adapt the political thriller from the author of the “Bourne Identity”.
The book’s official synopsis reads;
“Did J. Edgar die a natural death?… or was he murdered?
Inver Brass—a group of high-minded and high-placed intellectuals who see a monstrous threat to the country in Hoover’s unethical use of his scandal-ridden private files. Douglas Wick is producing “Chancellor Manuscript” alongside Leonardo DiCaprio, who is expected to star in the film.
