The Streamy Awards (www.streamys.org), presented by the International Academy of Web Television (IAWTV), recognize excellence in global web television programming for broadband distribution across 35 creative categories, from acting and directing, to editing and special effects.
This first live Streamys Nominees announcement will be broadcast to a global audience at 9:30am PT on Monday, March 1, 2010. The Nominees were selected by members of the IAWTV. Nominees from several of the 35 categories will be announced live, with the remainder available at www.streamys.org immediately following the live broadcast. These will include: Best Comedy, Best Drama, Best Hosted, Best Reality, Best News, Best Companion Series, Best Male Actor (Drama), Best Female Actor (Drama), Best Male Actor (Comedy), Best Female Actor (Comedy), and Best Guest Star.
