Jason Segel and Ed Helms are joining together to star in “Jeff Who Lives at Home,” a Paramount stoner comedy from Mark and Jay Duplass.
The Duplass brother are writing and directing the film, as well as producing with Jason Reitman via Right of Way Films. John Malkovich, via his Mr. Mudd shingle is also onboard as a producer. Written by the brothers, the film is about a day in the life of two brothers, a loser (played by Segel) who lives at home and an overbearing but together one (played by Helms).
Judy Greer is in talks to play Helms’ wife, with the role of the mother of the two still being cast.
Shooting is set to begin next month in Louisiana.
