The tagline says it all, “In 1998, 1 million ecstasy pills were smuggled into the USA by a group of Hasidic Jews.” If that doesn’t seal the deal and make you eager to see Holy Rollers, there’s something else that might, Jesse Eisenberg. Ever since Zombieland the guy’s been on the up and up and doesn’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon. Not only is there buzz about a Zombieland sequel, but Eisenberg is also coming out in the highly anticipated movie The Social Network, in which he stars as Mark Zuckerberg, the creator of Facebook. Luckily the folks behind Holy Rollers snatched him up way before the frenzy.
As the poster shows, Eisenberg isn’t the only top-notch talent in Holy Rollers. The film also features The Hangover’s Justin Bartha as the guy who convinces Eisenberg’s character to stray from his noble roots and earn some quack cash smuggling drugs between Amsterdam and New York. There’s also Ari Graynor, who you might recognize from Whip It or Nick and Nora’s Infinite Playlist. Yes, she was the one who fished her chewing gum out of puke-packed toilet.
