Did that REC 2 red band trailer freak you out? Well, brace yourself, because this clip is equally terrifying. Right after the last poor soul of REC succumbs to the virus that turns the residents of a Barcelona apartment complex into man-eating zombies, REC 2 begins. Now that all contact with the inside has been lost, it’s time to do whatever it takes to contain the problem. A SWAT team led by a Ministry of Health official arrives on the scene to ensure the virus does not leave that building. The problem is, there’s far more to the situation than they think.
Clearly the man minus the army getup in this clip is our health official and he’s quite excited about that rotting corpse that’s fallen from the ceiling. That all changes when a rabid child gives him a lovely surprise. This is an excellent taste of what you can expect from REC 2; dark rooms, shrieking infected victims, screaming, extreme shaky cams and it’s wonderful.
