Zack Snyder is confirming news about one of the most anticipated movies of the next decade, his ‘Superman’ reboot, Slashfilm.com is reporting. Although the director’s next movie is ‘Sucker Punch,’ which is expected to hit theaters in April, rumors are constantly swirling about his follow-up.

The director confirmed to Empire that the superhero film won’t be featuring villain General Zod, as previously reported. However, Snyder didn’t confirm or deny if his version of ‘Superman,’ which is being directed by David Goyer and produced Christopher Nolan, will focus on Superman’s early years. This comes after weeks of speculation that the reboot would focus on Superman’s rise to his current superhero status.

Rumors are also circulating that Snyder isn’t being entirely forthcoming with details, as Nolan advised him not to. That way more attention and interest will peak in the film.
