Emma Stone has turned down the opportunity to appear in the film version of the television series that made Johnny Depp famous. The ’21 Jump Street’ movie, which will be led by Jonah Hill, is expected to become filming next year. She told MTV that “I don’t think I’m going to be part of that,” as she is already committed to the ‘Spider-Man’ reboot.
The star of the comedic hits ‘Easy A’ and ‘Zombieland’ added that she’s a fan of Hill’s, and that she’s “psyched to see” the ’21 Jump Street’ movie. But she had to turn it down, as she’s preparing to begin shooting ‘Spider-Man’ alongside ‘The Social Network’ star Andrew Garfield.
Stone also confirmed that the ‘Spider-Man’ cast will start rehearsing soon, as production is expected to begin in mid-December. “There’s a lot of open dialogue about where we’re going with this and how Peter and Gwen are going to come together..It’s an ever-changing thing…My background is in improv, so this kind of ever-changing nature is ideal for me” the actress added.
