Bradley Cooper and Robert De Niro have reportedly returned to Philadelphia to re-shoot the ending for their new movie ‘Limitless,’ Comingsoon.net is reporting. While the thriller is set to be released by Relativity Media on March 18, director Neil Burger had his cast film additional scenes in what is being considered a ploy to increase audience interest.
Rumors of a different ending began circulating after a new location depicting a New York City campaign office for Cooper’s character Edward Morra was discovered. If Edward, who uses a drug that allows him to utilize his entire brainpower and later becomes a target of people who want to control him, ultimately runs for a New York political office, it will mean he avoided being taken prisoner.
There’s no official word yet from Burger or Relativity if the movie will follow the ending of the novel it’s based on, The Dark Fields by Alan Glynn, or if it will go an entirely different route. But after Cooper and his ‘Limitless’ co-star Abbie Cornish were recently seen filming at popular restaurant Sampan on South 13th Street, buzz around the movies ending began circulating.
