Just days after Relativity Media released its knight action movie ‘Season of the Witch’ starring Nicolas Cage, the studio confirmed via a press release that it will be distributing a 3D Greek Gods epic movie titled ‘Immortals.’ The movie, which is set to hit theaters on November 11, 2011, will be helmed by ‘The Cell’ director Tarsem Singh, and was written by Charles Parlapanides and Vlas Parlapanides.
Confirmed stars for ‘Immortals’ are Kellan Lutz, Mickey Rourke, Stephen Dorff, John Hurt, Isabel Lucas of ‘Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen’ fame, ‘Slumdog Millionaire’s Frieda Pinto, Luke Evans from ‘Robin Hood’ and Henry Cavill from Showtime’s ‘The Tudors.’ The movie follows a ruthless King, Hyperion, played by Rourke, who leads his army “on a murderous rampage across Greece to find a deadly weapon that will destroy humanity,” Relativity has verified. Cavill portrays mortal Theseus, who is chosen by Zeus to lead the fight against Hyperion.
