Get Scared has released their music video for “Sarcasm” off of their self-titled EP and we must admit we had to watch the video during the day time with some on and off hand covering the face movement.
The new music video was filmed in an abandoned town in New York and is directed by the award winning director David Brodsky. Brodsky has directed over 150 music videos, including videos for God Forbid, Diecast and As I Lay Dying. And he has yet to disappoint.
The horror video begins with Get Scared in the most unwelcoming graveyard we have come across. The ominous scene is heightened with the use of jarring light enhancements on the faces of the Get Scared members, also including their tour mate, Craig Mabbitt of Escape The Fate.
A not surprisingly, uninhibited Get Scared then proceeds to dig up the bodies of the graveyard, unveiling bloody, zombie-esque people. The undead asymmetrically walk to see the band perform on stage.
Although there are monstrous members in the crowd, our attention is diverted to the shattering performance of the band on stage. As they trample the stage with their powerhouse chorus and unruly instrumental rifts, Get Scared proves they are a hardcore band to be reckoned with.
The music video for “Sarcasm” reaches its culmination with Get Scared reburying the undead.
The video might be a bit unsettling for the queasiest of stomachs, but it is definitely a risk you should be willing to take. A little vomit never hurts.
