CKY has been on the musical radar for over a decade. In the early 90s, drummer Jess Margera met guitarist and vocalist Deron Miller at East High School in West Chester. Although CKY can be classified as an alternative rock band, glimpses of metal can still be heard in their tracks, highlighting the band’s origins.
And on March 22nd, fans can now play the tunes of CKY’s past with the release of B-Sides & Rarities via Mighty Loud Entertainment and Fontana/Universal. The 12-song compilations features unreleased, rare, and long out-of-print tracks from the historic past of the band, dating back to the 90s. The lead single of the album, “Afterworld,” was specifically written for the film, JACKASS 3D, and can be heard on the end credits. The following 11 tracks of B-Sides & Rarities were primarily picked by the CKY fans. The generation crossing band chose songs that were most requested on the Internet and the radio over the years.
CKY has listened to your favorites, now it is your turn to return the favor. Be sure to check out their official website for details.
