If you were a kid growing up in the ’90s like me, you rue the day when Nickelodeon quit airing classic shows such as “Clarissa Explains It All”, “All That”, “Kenan and Kel”, etc. Well, wallow in sadness no longer, because TeenNick is bringing back your childhood!

In an exclusive to Entertainment Weekly, TeenNick stated that starting in the fall, their midnight to 2 a.m. lineup will feature the aforementioned shows and others, including, “The Adventures of Pete and Pete”, “Rugrats” and “The Amanda Show”. The block of retro television will be called “The ’90s Are All That”. Even better news is that TeenNick is looking to bring more retro shows and movies into the block.

TeenNick decided to bring back these shows due to the popularity of facebook social groups dedicated to this era of Nickelodeon television. Keith Dawkins, Senior Vice President and general manager of TeenNick, told Entertainment Weekly, “At the time, we were completely devoted to that audience ages 9, 10 and 11…It was ground-breaking and for the young viewers, a powerful and pivotal point in their lives. Those kids who are now 22, 23 and 24 want to bring that back.”

Since I’m part of the target audience Dawkins was talking about, let me be the first to say, “YES!” and “IT’S ABOUT TIME!” Now I can watch RepairMan, Ashley (“Thaaaaat’s Me!”), and this classic (video below) over and over again. Now just bring back “Hey Arnold!”, “Two Angry Beavers”, “Doug” “The Journey of Alan Strange” and “Legends of the Hidden Temple”, and I’ll be set. What shows do you hope they bring back?
