The Foo Fighter’s kicked off the upcoming release of their new album, Wasting Light, with the debut of their new music video for the track, “Rope,” on MTV.
The single, “Rope,” is the first track off Wasting Light and is now available both as a digital single and as an instant grat with iTunes pre-orders of the full record.
Wasting Light is not your average heavy auto-tuned album that we often see nowadays. Produced by Butch Vig and mixed by Alan Moulder, Wasting Light did not use computers or any other software to deliver the well-rounded album, which drops on April 12th via Roswell/RCA.
The Foo Fighters will also be releasing Medium Rare, a vinyl-only compendium of their cover tune, on this year’s annual Record Store Day. With covers of tracks, such as Paul McCartney & Wings’ “Band On The Run” and Pink Floyd’s “Have a Cigar,” Medium Rare is a reawakening compilation.
Joining the Foo Fighters musical reign is the White Limo Tour, which will be leaving Los Angeles and traveling on a cross-country adventure. The white limo will be cranking up the volume with tunes from the Foo Fighter’s, Wasting Light. Be sure to visit Foofighters.com for more details.
