Judd Apatow has taken to Twitter to announce that Megan Fox will be in his next film. The movie, which will be a spin-off from “Knocked Up”, according to The Hollywood Reporter, will have Paul Rudd and Apatow’s real-life wife Leslie Mann reprise their roles as a married couple. Fox’s role is currently under negotiations, no word on what her role will entail.
Apatow’s twitter shows where he retweeted a report about Fox joining the film’s cast. Later, a fan replies, ” i am SO excited to see Megan in your film. it is such an interesting choice alongside rudd and your wife but i love this idea!!”, which Apatow also retweeted.
Apatow told HitFix the jist of the spin-off, saying, “It is just a story from Pete [Rudd] and Debbie’s [Mann] current life. People really responded to their characters and problems. I felt like there was a lot of ground I could explore with them, so we’ll be shooting in July and will come out the following June. There are some fun details yet to reveal but I will let them come out slowly.”
The film these two characters, first appeared in, “Knocked Up”, centered around a lazy do-nothing, played by Seth Rogen, who learns that a one-night stand is pregnant with his child.
