Music is love. Any music fan should frequently associate these two words since those Beatles days. Since the 60s, these terms have grown closer and with the crisis in Japan, we are finding it difficult to distinguish between the two.
Global Music Efforts has released a “Songs for Japan” album on iTunes to benefit those affected by the earthquake and tsunami in Japan. Album proceeds will be directed to the Japanese Red Cross Society to support its disaster relief efforts.
This album isn’t simply described as music for a cause; it is compiled of songs from the top artists of the present and past. With artists, such as John Lennon, Bob Dylan, Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Eminem, Cee Lo Green and David Guetta, there is not one genre this compilation does not touch upon.
So, buy this album not only for the musical excitement that surrounds it, but also for the generosity that encompasses it. Start the week off right and donate to Japan.
