We have to admit that techno and electronic music has never been at the top of our favorite genre list. It has been more so at the way bottom, at times with certain artists not even making the list. But the same categorizing cannot be said for the tunes of James Yuill.
Jame Yuill falls perfectly between eletronica and folkloric music. He is not too much of one, or too little of the other. He is able to create music that infuses the tempos of techno tracks and the breezy beat of folk music without loosing the melodic flow of the tune.
Check out the two new mash-ups for his song, “Crying for Hollywood,” which were remixed by Grown Men and Berlin bass heavy producer Shir Khan.
We suggest that aspiring masters of electronic music should take a listen to these tunes, if you’re concerned with making ground on our list.
