The modern day Joe Cocker has just arrived into the music scene. We still think that Cocker’s famed tunes, such as “You Are So Beautiful” and “With A Little Help From My Friends,” could be released nowadays and reclaim their #1 positions on the charts.
What we mean by modern day is that this artist brings back Cocker’s rugged vocals into a world where repetitive and beat heavy tracks dominate the radio waves. Although his tunes might not have these contemporary elements, we still imagine the tracks of the up and coming artist, Jim Bianco, passing alongside these wavelengths. Bianco’s ability to control his raspy sound unearths a bunch of genres that fans can latch onto.
If you don’t know who Jim Bianco is, we will briefly fill you in for your own personal knowledge and for you to elaborate your answer when someone asks, “Who are you listening to on your iPod?” We all love to show off a little bit.
Jim Bianco is a musician, producer and songwriter. In other words, he is a triple threat. Bianco released his third full-length album, Loudmouth, on April 5th via Steady Records. The 9 track album illuminates Bianco’s skill in writing tracks that exude the hardships of life, but also incorporate spurts of humor. The album reads like a story, but you can still distinguish the start of one chapter and beginning of another due to Bianco’s vocal talent in singing a track unlike the one heard before it.
Check out his album, Loudmouth, and relive the sounds of the 60s, where good music wasn’t determined by the amount of head bobs and fist pumps you could do in one track.
