Title: Killer Bong 3-D: The Wrath of Bong
Directed by: Charles Band (Puppet Master)
Starring: Dena Kollar, Christina DeRosa and John Patrick Jordan
A meteor crash lands in a wooded park near Venice Beach and an old man who just buried his freshly murdered wife in a shallow grave. The meteor opens up to reveal an alien bong inside and a strange “plant” is sprouting out of the rock. The old man takes the bong to a local headshop on the Venice boardwalk where we are re-introduced to the stoners from the Evil Bong and Evil Bong II: King Bong films. The old guy sells the bong, stoner Bachman decides to test the new merchandise and is whisked away to an alien planet where he is delightfully seduced by hot half naked alien chicks in black-light paint.
Unfortunately, we were only sent the first 22 minutes of this film; but I wish I lived closer to one of the theaters where the it will be playing in limited release. Not since John Water’s Polyester has glorified smell-o-vision or in Evil Bong 3D’s case: Sniff-o-rama.
Full Moon has had their share of hits and misses, but c’mon, it’s stoners in space! And it’s in 3D!
I wasn’t even the slightest bit inebriated when viewing the short teaser and was anxious to see how it ended. Seeing this film with a large audience may be worth the trek to the theater.
