We love our summer concerts, but when those blissful days come to an end in September, we often feel sad and longing for the next peak in music. Well, we are glad to announce those post summer days no longer have to be blue, thanks to the Foo Fighters.
The top alternative rock band of the year has just confirmed the next run of shows in their ongoing American arena headline tour in support of the worldwide #1 album “Wasting Light”, which dropped April 8th via Roswell Records. Pre-sales for the fall leg of the tour will begin on May 18th. General sales will follow May 20th with the exception of St. Paul and Columbus, which will go on sale to the public on June 4th. The tour will kick off September 14th in St. Paul, MN and will run through September 26th, concluding in East Rutherford, NJ. The good news just keeps on coming with the Foo Fighters. The band’s tour will be supported by Rise Against and Mariachi el Bronx.
Foo Fighters just can’t get enough of performing the tracks from their smash hit album. These fall dates expand on the recently announced Midwest headline dates that begin on May 17th in Tulsa, OK and end on May 26th in Missoula, MT. Rise Against and Mariachi el Bronx have a tough act to follow since Motorhead and Biffy Clyro will support the May dates of the tour.
The U.S. fans are not hogging the Foo Fighters all for themselves. We are extending the Foo Fighter love to our friends up north. The band also will perform in Canada on August 9th in Toronto and August 10th in Montreal. Tickets for these show will go on sale May 20th and 21st, respectively.
Foo Fighters are giving you an ample amount of dates to see them. So it would be a shame if you couldn’t attend at least one show. You are not just seeing a performance from any alternative rock band, but a band whose recently released album debuted at #1 in a dozen countries. “Wasting Light” has catapulted the band into another decade and we advise you to jump on board to watch history in the making.
