We have brand new music for you this summer from some across the pond foreigners. How can you deny European music, when it consistently churns out top artists?

Go grab a pen and paper and mark off July 5th on your calendar, which in the 21st century is probably translated to, whipping out your iPad. On this glorious Tuesday, Ipswich, UK’s, Basement will drop their debut full-length album, ‘”I Wish I Could Stay Here'”, via Run For Cover Records. Basement is the first international signing for the label, so this band had to have a lofty impact on the label to break its United States bond. ‘”I Wish I Could Stay Here'” will be released on CD, LP and Digital formats, all on July 5th, and will feature 10 new tracks mixed and mastered by Jesse Cannon (Man Overboard, Lifetime, Saves the Day). The track listing for the forthcoming album includes the titled tunes, “Fading,” “Plan To Be Surprised,” “Canada Square,” “Crickets Throw Their Voices,” “Earl Grey,” “Ellipses,” “Every Single Word,” “Yoke,” “Grayscale” and “March.”

You can catch the band performing at Slam Dunk, Hevy and Ghost Festivals this year. Stay tuned for up and coming Basement information, which includes a brand new track, pre-order information and tour dates!

Set aside July 5th for Basement’s ‘”I Wish I Could Stay Here'” and have a UK music celebration day, situated appropriately right after Independence Day. Spread the freedom love!
