There is no better news than hearing about the signing of band. It might not mean the band’s struggles for fame are resolved, but it does take a considerably large bullet off of the group’s to-do-list. So without further ado, we are pleased to announce Columbus, Ohio’s City Lights has inked a deal with InVogue Records.
Usually a fresh sign means some unheard tunes and this linkage between a band and a label is no different. City Lights, who formed in early 2008, consists of vocalist, Oshie Bichar, guitarist Joey Kasouf, guitarist, Jeremy Smith, bassist, Chase Clymer and drummer, Sean Smith. The band’s discography includes their debut EP, “Rock Like A Party Star”, which was self-released in 2008 and their upcoming debut album, “In It To Win It”, which will drop on July 26thvia InVogue Records.
Their pop-punk sound is ideal for the forthcoming summer days. So, take a listen as they head out on tour this summer. City Lights might be relatively unknown now, but the group’s upbeat tempo infused with punk instrumentals and swift sounding vocals, will have the band comfortably situated with other artists who will have summer hits.
