Actor Mile Teller, who starred in Rabbit Hole, has signed on to play the lead role in 21 and Over. The comedy was written and will be helmed (their directorial debut) by the writing duo, Jon Lucas and Scott Moore, the hilarious minds behind The Hangover franchise! Making another go with their perfected story lines of an innocent night out that spirals into some hilarious debacles, Lucas and Moore’s latest script involves three childhood friends back together again. And on the eve of one character’s medical school exam to boot. We can already see Teller getting cuffed!
No word has been released on the details surrounding Miles Teller and his ’21 and Over’ character, or who will fill the remaining two leads, but this sounds a lot like The Hangover all over again. Will they step it up with some new material? 21 will come by way of Relativity Media productions, and Mandeville Films’ with David Hoberman and Todd Lieberman both producing.
Previously Teller was seen on the big screen opposite Nicole Kidman and Aaron Eckhart in Rabbit Hole, as well as The Unusuals, the short films Moonlighters, A Very Specific Recipe and The Musicians. Up next you can see him in the 80’s remake of Footloose. The actor plays Willard – you know Kevin Bacon’s buddy in the flick who couldn’t dance!
