Who wants to think about September just yet?! There is however one thing to look forward to at the dreadful end of summer – Jane Lynch playing host at the 63rd Emmy Awards. Conformed by Variety, Lynch, who plays the notoriously nasty coach of the Cheerios on Glee, has been asked by executive producer Mark Burnett.
Accepting the role as host, Lynch, in all her glorious spunk, says she can’t wait to sing, and dance, “sporting her finest track suit.” Was there any other candidates in mind? According to Burnett – “Jane was my first. and only, choice as the host for this year’s Primetime Emmys, and I am glad she said yes. She has incredible comedic timing, and is a charismatic, talented actress whose energy leaps off the screen and stage!”
Who wouldn’t agree? Accept for Ed O’Neil of course! Since the Emmys are on an eight year rotation cycle between four major networks, FOX will be broadcasting the big event this year on September 18th! Maybe we’ll get to see the rest of the Glee cast there as well! Will Sue and her arch rival, Shue, share the stage?
Alright Gleeks! Will you be tuning in this year to watch Sue Sylvester on stage at the 63rd Emmy Awards?
