Tim Burton’s stop-motion animation masterpiece “The Nightmare Before Christmas” has been released and re-released before. But the new release of “The Nightmare Before Christmas” will show the film in the clarity only Blu-Ray can offer. According to the press release, “The Nightmare Before Christmas” will become available for the first time ever to own on Disney Blu-ray 3D and/or 3D Movie Download, on August 30, 2011. “The all-new 3D presentation of The Nightmare Before Christmas will be available as a 3-Disc Combo Pack (Blu-ray 3D, Blu-ray, DVD/Digital Copy hybrid) and/or a 3D Movie Download,* providing fans and families alike with several great ways to enjoy the film,” states the release.
The Nightmare Before Christmas 3-Disc Combo Pack (Blu-ray 3D, Blu-ray, DVD/Digital Copy hybrid) will be available at the price of $49.99 U.S./$56.99 Canada and the 3D Movie Download will cost $25.00 U.S. Remember that if you get the 3D version, you’ll need to have a television with 3D capabilities.
