What perfect timing for the Foo Fighters. The legendary rock group has just released their official video from the track, “Walk,” off of the band’s album, ‘Wasting Light’ and on June 5th, the Foo Fighters will be performing the tune at the 2011 MTV Movie Awards. This musical situation is ideal because we just can’t get enough of this empowering track.
The “Walk” music video describes those painful days where you wake on the wrong side of the bed and every step after that digs you deeper into a rut. We have all had these days, and usually the most uplifting moment is when tomorrow is only a few short hours away. David Grohl shows that maybe these horrible days aren’t as bad as they may seem. With every dull instance, the upsetting repetition could become humorous since it is expected to be bad. Adding this touch of laughter causes you to keep pushing on through, not giving up and “learning to walk again.” Foo Fighters, you always find a way to inspire us.
Check out the newest video and tune in to the Foo Fighters’ MTV performance on Sunday! You can also catch the band on their North American tour, which kicks off in Toronto, ON on August 9th.
