We cannot even imagine how exhilarating it is for a band to play new tunes off of their upcoming album. Let’s dig deeper into that statement. Picture yourself as a member of a band and you spent a handful of your time making tracks that allowed you to channel your emotions in a healthy way. Now, those expressive tunes must translate well through to the fans. It is a tough job that becomes more challenging when the audience’s reaction to your work is up close and personal in a concert setting. The band must play all the way through the show, no matter what the audience’s response may be.
No situation is too demanding for the UK band, Basement, who is not only releasing new tunes this summer while on tour, but also making their musical debut in these blissful summer days. Basement’s forthcoming album, “I Wish I Could Stay Here”, will drop July 5th via Run For Cover Records and the following day the group will be hitting the road alongside Title Fight. Basement will tour throughout July and in between the show dates, the band will play a record release show in their hometown of Ipswich, UK, as well as a show in Norwich, UK with Polar Bear Club and Man Overboard.
Basement has made it easy for fans to get to know them by launching this brand new website. You can see the latest Basement news, tour dates, merchandise, photos and videos. So get yourself acquainted with Basement and see them on their opening tour. We promise you there is nothing like hearing a new band sing their hearts out on stage to earn your initial respect and praise.
