Foo Fighters keep adding more tour dates to the group’s North American arena tour and we could not be more thrilled. We guess that’s the move for a band to make when their album went gold less than months after debuting at #1 in a dozen countries. In case you weren’t aware of this massive Foo Fighters success, we’ll inform you a little bit of the band’s latest news, before we get to the expansion of the group’s tour.
‘Wasting Light’, which is the legendary group’s seventh album, dropped back in April via Roswell and RCA. Foo Fighters are planning to release the feature-length documentary,’ Foo Fighters: Back and Forth’, on DVD and Blu-Ray on June 14th. Fans can purchase the film, which was directed by Oscar winner James Moll, exclusively at Best Buy through July 12th.
With all the Foo Fighters’ buzz why not add a little more? We guess the Foo Fighters agreed with us because the group announced that the next run of the headline shows will span from October 9th in Denver, CO to October 28th in Edmonton. The additional dates will also include a November 14th show in Newark, NJ. The pre-sales for these extended October and November dates will begin 10 a.m. local time on June 15th. General on sales will follow at 10 a.m. local time on June 17th. Special guests for the October dates will include Cage The Elephant and Mariachi El Bronx.
We know the Foo Fighters’ tour dates just keep on coming, so we think it is best for you to head over to the group’s official tour site to get your Foo Fighters’ mind organized.
