As a huge Texas Chainsaw Massacre fan, there was no way I was letting the latest episode of Pop Pilgrims slide by without sharing it with you. So far the Pilgrims have taken us to Jimmy Stewart’s apartment in Vertigo, the United Methodist Church as seen in The Graduate and so much more, but what could be better than getting a look at Leatherface’s humble abode? Better yet, what’s better than indulging in a big juicy stake where the infamous killer enjoyed hacking up his victims, as the house is now the Junction House restaurant?
The episode features Texas Chainsaw Massacre expert Tim Harden who walks us through the layout of the house from the dining room to the window Sally (Marilyn Burns) does a swan dive out of in order to escape Leatherface’s blade. The Pilgrims also chat with Junction House owner, Jeremy Lee, who frequently fields questions from folks who take the movie a bit too seriously, wondering how Lee could open up a restaurant in a location that played host to so many murders.
Check it all out for yourself in the video below and be sure to keep an eye out for more Pop Pilgrims adventures as they’ve still got over 20 locations to go.
