We have breaking news for you ShockYa readers. Not necessarily urgent news, but crucial information that will make one of you the owner of an autographed booklet of Jennifer Lopez’s ‘Love?’ With the diva at a highpoint in her career, this prize is a pretty hefty object to possess. So to the winner, we suggest you place the album in a secure location. Maybe even design a diamond encrusted safe around it. We are only kidding, of course.
Just a little recap for you: the contest involved you ShockYa readers to tell us a tale about your own diva moments. We have finally selected a winner. Congratulations, Vicky! We found your twinkling tale to be both humorous and relatable to others. We may not be divas 24/7, but we have our own instances of cattiness, where the title could apply. So, we will specify this term and coin our own phrase of a partial diva, which is a person who prefers to turn on his or her glow once in a while.
Vicky, you deserved to be a partial diva in your story. We would have acted the exact same way. See if you agree and check out her post below!

I am not a Diva type person but just recently I had a moment! I recently went on an all-inclusive trip to Fiji that I was so excited about! I did my research on the island – what to do, what to see, etc. I had every detail planned and mapped out it was going to be great! So I get there after a 14+ hour flight at the hotel ready to start my paradise vacation… they did not have my reservation! After looking for an hour with no luck they told me they are all booked and there would be no rooms till tomorrow (I got in at 10 pm). At this point I was LIVID since it was only 3 AM in California I could not contact anyone for another 5 hours to fix this! I began to complain that they need to do something for me because I was so tired. After 5 hours of complaining to numerous people there with no success I finally got a hold of my travel agent. It turns out my info was “misplaced” and that they were so sorry and would do whatever they could to rectify this and make my stay hassle free.
So I decided to relish in the moment since I was not going to ever visit Fiji again and was just treated so poorly. Since I had everyone there at my beckoning call I decided to switch to bitch mode. I tongue lashed the whole entire staff for 10 minutes on treating a guest with compassion! For the next day I called room service for everything! I need my pillow covers & sheets changed, I need some fresh fruit and water, I need a map of the island, I need to have the bathroom cleaned, I need a new room this one has bugs, etc. I had the staff running the other way when they saw me. I definitely was a DIVA Bitch that day but if they were nice and compassionate to begin with they would have never seen that. I was just tired and aught up in the moment.
